25 Mile Endurance Rides
Saturday, September 13, 2008
Council Grove Lake,
Council Grove, Kansas

The Kaw Nation Ride is an introductory limited distance ride of 25 miles, designed to introduce riders to the sport of endurance riding. This ride is held in conjunction with the final day of the Great Santa Fe Trail Horse Race Endurance Ride and the final celebration of that ride in Council Grove, Kansas. This ride takes place on land that was once owned by the Kaw Nation. The fee for this ride is $35.00, plus $15.00 if the rider is not an AERC (American Endurance Ride Conference) member. Due to the fact that this ride is at the same time as the Great Santa Fe Trail Horse Race Endurance Ride, we must have pre-enrollment. Enrollment must be made on or before August 15, 2008. Payment can be made at the ride.
